Based on my original acrylic painting ‘Balancing Act’, featuring the beautiful Piwakawaka (fantail) - one of the happiest, cheekiest native birds you’ll find in New Zealand.

This piece is a collision of my works over the past few years... the radiant green geometric building blocks he stands upon represents a flimsy camelia branch that these little guys often balance upon in our garden with such ease. Hence the reason I named this piece 'Balancing Act'.
